Is it Hip Hop? Rock? Funk? Blues? It’s a little bit of everything. If you’re looking for a cure to music dumbassery, Wolves & Sheep is here with the perfect blend of concepts, deep lyrics, and melodic grooves to illuminate your mind and soul.
Originally formed by Tyler Durdin and Ben Oh in 2014, the band has taken on an entirely new sound with the introduction of rapper Cashmere The PRO. Cash and Tyler met in Atlanta in early 2000 and quickly became best friends, forming the musical duo Grey soon after. Now they’ve combined their hip hop roots with the rock & roll, pop, and R&B musical stylings of Kit Whitacre, Robin Eckman, Antonio Quintero, Atlas, DJ Silent Beard, and Joe Martin.
In 2019, Wolves & Sheep began working on an ambitious hip hop and rock concept album titled Grey Expectations. Originally planned as a single album release, the album morphed into a 17 track chronological story and will now be released as 3 separate albums divided into 3 Volumes. Grey Expectations is inspired by classic rock concept albums like Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, The Who’s Tommy, Masta Ace’s Long Hot Summer, Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On, and Parliament’s Mothership Connection.
